An Experience/Encounter: My Soul’s Fuse Box

Recently, I entered my prayer closet and shut the door (Matthew 6:6). I went through the door (Jesus-John 10:9) to find pasture – rest for my soul.

I saw a huge fuse box panel in front of me. There were thousands of fuses. Some of them had not yet been turned on, although there was nothing apparently wrong with them. Some fuses had clicked off for some reason. A few looked burned.

I turned to see Yeshua (Jesus) standing next to me. He was considering the panel as well. I asked Him what we were looking at. He said, “this is your soul panel. Everyone has one. It is amazingly complex and interconnected, and yet ultimately a single panel, empowered by Us (the Trinity).”

I could see that some of my soul’s power grid had simply not yet been turned on, as if I didn’t know the power that I had within me. Some fuses appeared to be overloaded and turned off momentarily. Some fuses were burned out from trauma.

He went on to say: “These malfunctioning fuses can all be changed. It doesn’t matter why they aren’t working or how they got damaged. There is nothing stopping you from exchanging these fuses so that your entire being will be nothing but light and energy, filled with Our love.”

But it is your choice, not Mine,” Jesus said. “So keep saying ‘yes’ to Me, beloved. Together, we will find, release, and restore these fuses in your soul.”

Today, I walk in that knowledge, that I have the choice and God has the power. And as with an earthly fuse box, I won’t fuss over why there is a problem: I simply have it fixed by saying “yes” to God’s transforming work in my heart and mind (Romans 12:1,2). I will take responsibility over my thoughts and feelings, words and actions.

And as that inner work takes root, the outward fruit follows naturally. I will let my light so shine before men, that they may see my good works and glorify my Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

These scriptures grounded this encounter for me — take them with you as you consider your own soul’s fuse box:

Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

Matthew 5: 14-16 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

2 Cor. 3: 17,18 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Psalm 37:6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday
